Saxby Chambliss Rally in Savannah, Georgia.
All the Saxby Chambliss fans
congressman Jack Kingston
Governor Sarah Palin
To start out, I would like to encourage all of my fellow Republicans to get out there and vote for Saxby Chambliss in the run-off election tomorrow.
The Saxby Chambliss Rally in Savannah was inspiring to say the least. There were hundreds of people, including Governor Sarah Palin to help the support of re-electing Senator Saxby Chambliss. If anyone has ever been to a rally, then you know the feeling of peace that comes over you during the realization that everyone around has from similar to the same thoughts on politics as you do.
The rally started with prayer and the pledge of allegiance. The main speakers of the rally were Jack Kingston and Sarah Palin. During Jack Kingston's speech, he referred to the rapper Ludacris, who's campaigning with Jim Martin (Saxby's opponent). He requested for the audience to raise their hands to point out who owns a ludacris CD. When a few did as such, he then asked which of them would want their mother to listen to that very CD. None of them raised there hands because they know the contents of the CD aren't exactly what mom wants to hear. The reasoning behind his strange questions was to point out the lack of morals Jim Martin must have to campaign with such a vulgar artist.
I have to say that Sarah Palin is a great speaker no matter what people's opinions of her may be. She has a good head on her shoulders and is an incredible republican representative with great conservative values. She's firm in her beliefs and does not sway from those principles. She spoke on a few topics such as Saxby Chambliss's vote for life, and Jim Martin's want to lower military bases by 25%. She also made reference to her son's military involvement. It was quite inspiring. She also talked on the need for balance in the senate, and stressed the need to have 41 seats vs 40 seats.
We republicans must keep our filibuster capabilities in the Senate. Your one vote will count quite a bit due to the minority of voters in the run-off, so please get out there and vote vote vote!
