They Have "Black Seats" in the Senate Now.

There is now an apparent color needed for certain senate seats, for example: Obama's old seat.

Wasn’t the entire point of the Civil Rights Movement to end segregation? Now the very people who sentenced segregation to its doom want it reinforced? At least that’s what Laura Washington thought when she practically said so in the Sun-Times yesterday.

Apparently there's a conspiracy to take blacks out of the picture. What? I ask again, What? is this a joke? Let me get this straight. America just elected a black president, and now it wants to get all blacks out of office... What?

She refers multiple times to keeping Obama's senate seat "black." I thought race didn't matter. This goes for whites as well, but what did blacks do to be black? They were BORN! Therefore, why do they deserve to get a senate seat solely on race?

According to Webster, Racism's second definition is "racial prejudice or discrimination." It doesn't say racial prejudice or discrimination only if it's directed to blacks. Meaning that when someone doesn't allow another to do something or receive something (such as a senate seat) solely because they are white, then that is racism. Yep, I said it.
